Tasting of Trilogia 2008 from the barrels.  Trilogia 2008 is a blend of Cabernet Frank, Merlot and
Syrah.  During the Spring Wine Release, you will be able to taste the three different components,
separately at first.  During the second stage of the wine tasting the wine maker, Margarita Vartanyan
will create two variations of Trilogia 2008, with varying amounts of cab, merlot and syrah.  The one
that will be the most unforgettable to everyone, will be the one getting bottled in two weeks.

Verticaal Tasting of Syrah and Merlot:during Barrel tasting you would be able to do vertical tasting of
Syrah: 2006 (bottled) and 2008, 2009 from the barrels and Merlot; 2006 (bottled) and 2007,2008 from
the barrel to compare aging effect on the wines, as well as our other wines.       
Spring Barrel Tasting 2012

 Barrel Tasting is truly the most spectacular event at Vartanyan Estate Winery. It is that time of year
where we open our doors for you to visit the winery and sample our current wines from the barrels.

During Barrel tasting you would be able to taste the wines we plan to release in spring of 2012.
We will create a Bordeaux style blend - a blend of the classic Bordeaux varietals: Cabernet Sauvignon,
Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Malbec. You will taste those and other wines straight from the barrels and
the blend. We will ask if you like the straight wines or the blend more. The one that will be the most
unforgettable to everyone, will be the one getting bottled for May Spring Release. We are hoping that
you will walk away from this experience and say “I am a wine lover, and I know how to create a wine".

10 different wines for tasting.
Barrel Tasting fee is $ 5.00 per person, refundable with purchase.
Wine club members, their friends and family are  free.
