ABOUT US
Vartanyan Estate Winery is a small boutique winery dedicated to excellence; owned and operated by Margarita and
Eugene Vartanyan.
The Vartanyan family tradition of wine making began over centuries ago in Armenia. During 1917 communist
revolution when Armenia (now it's independent country) was part of the Soviet Union, Vartanyan winery and vineyards
were expropriated by communists and part of the family was sent to Siberia. Margarita was born in Siberia and met
Eugene there. They learned to make wine with Eugene's grandparents in Armenia.
After immigrating to USA in 1998 Margarita and Eugene Vartanyan decided to continue family tradition of wine
making. They planted vineyard, built winery and started to make rich and excellent wines, using the knowledge and
tradition of their family and educational backgrounds.

We loved making wine all the time.
We decided to take our wine-making love to share with people.
Capturing our Armenian grandfather's spirit we handle every step
from vineyard management to bottling. Together we decide on all
aspects of viticulture, production and design of our wines.
We planted our small vineyard in 2006.
We are dedicated to make the high quality wine and want to
share our love to the WORLD OF WINE with you!
